|Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun Holds Talks with Luxembourg Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Assleborn|
On February 9, 2012, Vice Foreign Minister Zhang Zhijun held talks in Luxembourg with Luxembourg Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Jean Assleborn.
Zhang spoke positively of China-Luxembourg relations, saying that China is willing to take the opportunity of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations to enhance mutual understanding and political trust, deepen pragmatic cooperation in various fields and enhance the bilateral relations to a new level.
Assleborn said Luxembourg attaches great importance to relations with China, and is willing to play its advantages to strengthen bilateral cooperation on finance, steel, aviation, communications, high-tech and tourism and promote Luxembourg-China and EU-China relations for greater development. The two sides also exchanged views on the European situation and other issues.
